Welcome to the White Hart at Fyfield, Oxfordshire...
Where you can enjoy award-winning food, fine wines and local real ales, under the soaring eaves of a 15th Century Chantry House...
Kay and Mark Chandler welcome you to the White Hart, their beautiful country pub and restaurant, set in the picturesque village of Fyfield, just 7 miles from the city of Oxford. Once a 15th century Chantry, the setting is breathtaking, from the soaring eaves of the great hall and minstrel’s gallery, to the cosy bar with roaring log fire in winter and terrace full of aromatic herb gardens in summer.
The White Hart has held two rosettes for culinary excellence for 4 years running but is still somewhere you can stop and have a pint of real ale after a hard days work.
Voted one of the Top 100 Restaurants by the Telegraph and Top 50 Gastropubs by a recent industry poll, the White Hart has won numerous awards and accolades. Even Prince Harry is now somewhat of a regular and has given the signature pork dish the royal seal of approval!
We are delighted to have been nominated for the Oxfordshire Restaurant Awards 2014, which champions fresh, local produce and great service. We were runner up in 4 categories last year, so please vote for us and maybe we can have a win this year!
