OUR EVENTS CALENDAR:
- Christmas Parties – We are open for Christmas parties throughout December and will be offering a Christmas Party Menu from Thursday 1st until Friday 23rd December, excluding Sunday lunchtimes (usual Sunday lunch style menu available). Please contact us as soon as possible to book, as we are getting busy already.
- Christmas Day – We are open for lunch on Christmas Day and will be serving drinks from 11:30am-4pm and food from 12-2:30pm. Please see our Christmas Day Menu and contact us as soon as possible to book, as we are almost full already.

Take Away Fish and Chips - Due to popular request! Every Thursday night from 6-8:30pm. Beer battered fish, proper chips, mushy peas, tartare sauce £8.50 (sustainable fish only). Please either drop in and enjoy a pint whilst we prepare them for you or call ahead and we will have your order ready for collection.

BOOKING AN EVENT OR FUNCTION:
Owing to the unique layout of The White Hart, we can cater for a variety of functions, from small intimate dinner parties to weddings and larger celebrations.
Business Meetings
We have a number of private rooms which can be used for business meetings:
Minstrel’s Gallery – seats up to 16
Chantry Room – seats up to 32
Cellar Room – seats up to 14
Hire charges are as follows: Half day - £90, Full day £120, plus £5 per person. This price includes, tea, coffee, biscuits, water and the use of a flip chart, paper and pens. Prices are conditional on the group having lunch or dinner. Breakfast packages are also available.
Wireless internet access is available.
Parties
Whether you want a dinner party for 6 in the minstrel’s gallery or a larger party in the Great Hall, we can organise and host your function. Please note that for parties of 8 or more, we have a seasonal party menu (which changes monthly) and require a pre-order in advance. This is to ensure that we deliver the best possible service and quality to our guests.
Weddings
We would be delighted to host your wedding reception, whether it is a small intimate gathering in our Monk’s Room or a larger party in the Great Hall (maximum number of 62). We do not have a formal wedding pack because we believe that each wedding is individual and should be designed to suit your requirements. However, here is a sample wedding costing to give you an idea:
Wedding Breakfast for 50 guests. Cost of £5,000, which includes:
- Champagne and Pimms on arrival
- Selection of 4 canapés
- Three course meal, including tea and coffee
- Several glasses of wine with the meal
- Champagne toast with speeches
- Pay bar from arrival until 1:30am (latest)
- Exclusive use of the venue for the whole day and evening
