Anjou AOC, Cuvee Organic, Loire Valley, France, 2005
This is a superb dry fruity white with a rich and complex taste - from crisp apple to butterscotch. 12 months maturing in new oak barrels gives a wonderful creaminess and depth to the wine. The vines used to create this wine are over 25 years old and are comprised of 100% Chenin grapes from a small vineyard where the farming methods have been purely organic for years, using no pesticides, herbicides, insecticides or chemical additives.
